Associate Professor of Finance and Banking Department of the Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University, PhD, associate professor.

In 1982 – graduated from Donetsk State University with a degree in “Finance and Credit” and from September of this year to September 2014, she worked at the Department of Finance and Banking of Donetsk National University as an assistant, senior lecturer, and associate professor.

In 1991- defended candidate’s thesis on the topic “Cashless payments in the conditions of restructuring of the economic mechanism (based on industrial materials)”.

In 1994 – received the title of associate professor of the Department of Finance and Banking, completed an internship under the TASIS program at the University of Paris-12.

From October 2014 to August 2017 – worked as an associate professor of the Department of Finance and Banking at Yuriy Kondratyuk Poltava National Technical University.

In 2016 – took part in the 1st International Scientific and Practical Forum “Innovations in Science: Modern Challenges”, as a result of which she received a European certificate in the 4-ECTS format in the field of “Economics and Finance: Fundamental Tools and Innovative Technologies”.

Since September 2017 – associate professor at the Department of Finance and Banking at Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University.

Awarded with diplomas and thanks from the local, regional leadership and the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine. In 2020 – received an honorary diploma of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The author of about 240 publications of a scientific and educational and methodological nature, including: publications in specialized publications of Ukraine; in publications included in foreign scientometric databases; included in the scientometric databases recommended by the Ministry of Education and Culture, in particular the Web of Science Core Collection; 1 textbook, 5 teaching aids (1 – individually) with the seal of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine; training manuals; monographs; participation in international, all-Ukrainian and regional scientific and practical conferences. Under the leadership of Volkova N.I. prepared and defended candidate theses in the field of money, monetary circulation and credit.

Volkova N. in 2019 was included in the composition of experts of the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education in specialty 072 “Finance, banking and insurance”.

Volkova N. is a member of the Council of Quality of the Donetsk National University named after Vasyl Stus, a member of the Academic Council of the Donetsk National University named after Vasyl Stus, performs the duties of the deputy dean of the Faculty of Economics for academic work.

Teaches the following courses of bachelor’s and master’s educational programs: “Introduction to the profession”, “Money and credit”, “Banking system”, “Central bank and monetary policy”, “Financial management in a bank”.

Volkova N. Is a guarantor of OP “Finance, banking and insurance” of SO “Bachelor”, a member of the project group for the development of educational programs for the specialty 072 Finance, banking and insurance.
