In the process of studying at the Faculty of Economics, students receive not only fundamental scientific training, knowledge and skills of practical work in various spheres of state, commercial and social-educational purpose, but also develop leadership qualities, learn to think outside the box and make complex decisions.

In general, during the reporting years, a rather positive trend of employment of graduates of the Faculty of Economics is observed. This shows that the graduates of the Faculty of Economics of DonNU named after Vasyl Stus are in demand among employers, as well as the high quality of student training.

In order to increase the level of employment of graduates at the faculty, special attention is paid to the selection of practice bases with subsequent internships and employment prospects in accordance with the directions of the faculty’s educational programs.

Council of Employers of the Faculty of Economics of DonNU named after Vasyl Stus

 

In order to ensure the promotion of high-quality training of personnel for the field of economics and management by combining the intellectual potential and practical experience of the Faculty of Economics of the University in the field of personnel training, as well as expert experience and organizational potential on October 7, 2021 at the Faculty of Economics by signing a Memorandum of Partnership and Cooperation an advisory body “Employers’ Council of the Faculty of Economics of the Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University” was created, which included 24 enterprises of the city of Vinnytsia and Vinnytsia region, in particular: the Association of IT Companies of Vinnytsia, the Main Office of the State Tax Service in Vinnytsia Oblast, the Main Office of Statistics in Vinnytsia oblast, Hotel and restaurant complex “France”, Public organization “Euroregion “Dniester”, Department of City Marketing and Tourism of Vinnytsia City Council, LLC “PROMAVTOMATIKA VINNITSYA”, LLC “Audit Firm “Finance Law Audit Group”, LLC “Audit Firm “Reliability” ” and many others.

On June 9, 2023, the number of participants in the Council of Employers was expanded, as a result of which 7 more enterprises joined, in particular: Public Organization “MY-VINNYCHANI”, LLC “AGRANA FRUT Ukraine”, Joint-Stock Company “Insurance Company “Kraina” and others.

Principles of cooperation between members of the Council of Employers and the Faculty of Economics:

 

1. Systematic communication between the University and Partners aiming to actively participate in the activities of the Council.

2. Coordination of joint activities between the University and Partners in the field of ensuring the effective functioning of the Council.

3. Implementation of priority goals for national education and public society.

4. Functioning of the institution of higher education as a center of social development.

5. Monitoring the quality of educational activities.

Cooperation between the faculty and partner stakeholders is carried out in the following areas::

1. Participation in the development, review and implementation of educational programs of the Faculty of Economics by participating in round tables, consultations of project groups and groups of educational program support, stakeholder surveys, reviewing educational programs, holding guest lectures with applicants, etc.

2. Development and implementation of joint educational, scientific and applied projects.

3. Conducting joint events (conferences, seminars, round tables, trainings, lectures, etc.).

4. Implementation of elements of dual education in educational programs of the Faculty of Economics.

5. Passing of practical training by students of higher education of the University.

6. Promotion of employment of graduates and internships of higher education graduates of the Faculty of Economics.

7. Peer review of qualifying master’s theses completed by higher education graduates of the University.

8. Creation of creative teams to develop methodological recommendations and write scientific articles.

9. Provision of scientific consulting and additional educational services.

10. Exchange of experience in the implementation of advanced educational technologies, methods, forms and means of training, provision of mutual assistance in training and retraining of personnel.

11. Mutual exchange of information regarding professional and scientific achievements, conducting scientific and communicative events.

12. Any other forms of cooperation agreed with the Partners.
